Events The Future of Interculturalism: A guided dialogue with intercultural “tweaker”, Jeremy Solomons When: Wednesday, April 7th, 2010, 11.30 am - 1.30 pm The Cold War and the Axis of Evil are making way for a more complex and dispersed Global War on Terror; China’s Market Socialism is now challenging a new form of Managed Capitalism; and a young, Blackberry junkie of humble, mixed-race origins is the most powerful yet misunderstood leader in the world. With all of these and other global cross-currents, it would seem to be a good time to reconsider what it means to be an interculturalist and how to remain relevant and proactive in a rapidly changing world. Jeremy Solomons will lead an open, no-holds-barred dialogue on the past, present and future of interculturalism, focusing on the three main challenges and the three top opportunities that lie ahead for interculturalists.
